A modern Indian merchant exporter
Pravaha means flow. We move one product, from one valley, to buyers who need it documented and consistent.

Built around one product
Pravaha International is a merchant exporter registered in Tapi, Gujarat, India. We work on Kashmiri saffron alone: selecting lots from the Kashmir Valley, having each one tested, packing to the format a buyer's market needs, and preparing the export documentation that goes with it.
A merchant exporter is not a farm and does not pretend to be one. What we are responsible for is everything between the grower and your carton — grading honestly, testing before despatch, packing properly and documenting completely. That is the part most first-time importers of saffron find hardest to get right, and it is the part we do.
What we are building
A saffron supply chain a buyer can audit: one origin, a named grade, a lot-wise report and a document set that clears customs without a phone call.
How we sell
By answering the question asked, in writing, within a business day — including when the honest answer is that we cannot supply what was asked for.
What we will not do
Blend origins and call it Kashmiri. Publish a number we cannot evidence. Discuss one buyer's business with another.
Four things we hold ourselves to
- One origin, stated plainly, with the grade named in the specification.
- A laboratory report for the lot being supplied — not a generic certificate.
- A written quotation covering packing, lead time, incoterm and validity.
- Discretion: your requirement, volumes and terms are not discussed with anyone else.
Discuss your saffron requirement.
